The location of this site is great with many good nearby restaurants. Rooms are decorated in a minimalist style and are very spacious. The location is great in the center of Rome within easy walking access to many attractions. Public transit is nearby with a bus stop within a block.

My husband and I a long with our son stayed here 4 days it was a great end to our trip to Italy. The rooms are beautiful modern and very clean. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great, close to many restaurants, the park and the Borghese museum but also private and quiet. It is located in a beautiful old building. I would definitely stay here again. A great find for a great price!

Its located not far from center of Rome. We walk from there almost every where. Very clean and very tidy. Even though the trafic outside was high once you close windows it was really quiet! Definetly we will visit if we will be back to Rome! Good job Elizabetta

I stayed with my family at le Stanze di Gaia in September, I am Italian and frequently travel back to Italy and to Rome to visit friends. I am so happy I ended up staying here because it could not have been more perfect. The rooms are part of an apartment in an ornate, traditional residential building in Rome, in Municipio 2. The building inside and out is stunning and something you would not see if you were in a hotel. The rooms are modern, brand new and beautifully decorated. The bathrooms are gorgeous, renovated and big by Italian standards. I also couldn't get over how great the closet was-- it had enough space for everything all three of us packed and then some which was a great way to put the luggage away and not feel as if we were living out of suitcases. Our room also had a balcony overlooking the main street which is breathtaking at all times of day. The rooms were quiet and we didn't hear any street noise or even other guests. There are just a few rooms and a common kitchen area where you can do some light cooking which is an added bonus. The location makes this place really special, it is not in the touristic center of Rome but in a historic, upper class neighborhood. For all the years I have been coming to Rome I will never again stay close to the main tourist spots, they are expensive and not half the quality. Stanze di Gaia is about a 25 minute walk through the Giardini Borghesi ending in Piazza del Popolo (the center of Rome). It is the best way to start the morning walking through the lush gardens. Elisabetta was more than accommodating and sweet to offer suggestions and help with anything we needed. I look forward to going back again to stay soon. If you don't want to feel like every other tourist in Rome and instead see how Romans actually live, this is the place to be.
